FINDING TIME FOR YOUR PRACTICE

Your practice doesn’t need to be very long. Consistency is more important.  It is better to practice every day for 15 minutes than 0nce a week for one hour and a half.

I like to start my day with yoga. I usually have a full glass of water and one freshly squeezed lemon juice before after I wake up. More often than not, I will have a cup of coffee, although some yoga instructors don’t recommend drinking coffee before yoga practice. I like to practice yoga before I eat any solids. Some people like evening practice. It really is your own preference, but heavy food or drinking up to two hours before practice is not recommended.

Every practice I try to go for as many as of my favorite asanas that I can do in one practice. My practice is not always the same and I really like to work with my body and my energy level, coordinating my practice with the energy level that I feel at the moment.

Yoga is beautiful because you can practice asanas almost at any place. Here I am visiting my home town, literally off the plane after over eighteen hours of flight time. Yoga helps restore balance and convert the negative energy into the positive one. This is why I like what I do. Till next time … Chakras and Yoga.
